Believing In Me

I absolutely LOVE this Monica song "Believing In Me"... She got down with this one.

Often times individuals take break ups and look at them as something negative. I am convinced that everything happens for a reason. Break ups should be looked at as a chance to better yourself for the next door God opens. No matter what God has store in for you, even if its just being single, learn from your mistakes and make yourself a better person.

"so i hope you can forgive me I'm not gonna be the way i used to be starting over can be so scary but I'm gonna believe promise I'm not gonna let me down and my transformation starting right now but I'm really glad you stuck around cause you believed in me "

As Monica state in the above line, starting over is scary and so is becoming a better person, but anyone can do it with a little bit of faith and strength.

Hood Love

The song below is one of my all time favorites, but it often has me thinking..! The song is called Hood Love by Mary J. Blige and Trey Songz. The lyrics define a relationship of fussing and fighting, but at the end of the day, everything is fine because no one else compares.

It is often said that fussing and fighting is healthy, or is it? Sometimes the arguing and fighting adds wear and tear upon the relationship, especially when it is petty or unnecessary.

An argument can either go one way or the other when it comes to relationships, it can end up in a break up or a step up.

This song, though is a display of a step up. When you know that someone is the one you will be with, then why break up? An argument does not dismiss the idea that you love that person more than anything in the world. I assume when individuals start to understand the meaning of true love and real love and the maturity that it entails, then things will be more understood.
